About Kirstie

"Why should we work together? Because I understand how subtle shifts in your moods, emotions, physical structure and language, can influence your actions, behaviours and results. I know that information and intention to change is not enough; we must learn to embody the processes and practices that lead to change. I know what makes for a good performance, what stops you getting there and how to make it happen for you, by guiding you through processes that build a Resonant Presence."

Kirstie is a performance mastery expert, a specialist in somatic intelligence and the nature of presence in its many forms (performative, therapeutic and leadership). For twenty years she has helped hundreds of people deliver performances that exceed both their own and others' expectations, even when facing difficult personal and external constraints

An accomplished Performer, Director, Higher Education Academic Leader and International Workshop Leader, she has designed and delivered courses and master classes in many performance-based disciplines and contributed to national advisory boards and committees. She has coached award-winning directors and performers, senior managers of charities and international companies including The Body Shop and Sage, small business owners, teachers, nurses, therapists and creative artists.

She graduated with a Masters degree from Laban Centre and a first class Honours Bachelor degree from London Contemporary Dance School; two of the world's leading conservatoires. She is a qualified teacher and a body-worker (with a private practice). In her early career she was the assistant manager of a major London tourist attraction before being invited to join two other women responsible for overhauling UK dance education policy and funding; where she gratefully spent five years observing, learning and working alongside the country's most successful and innovative leaders in arts, education and politics.

She lives in Brighton, Sussex, with her husband, two children and an ancient dog. She’s proud to be a volunteer Secretary and therapist for the Sussex Bowen Children's Clinic, which offers free treatment for children with chronic conditions. Her most recent, most challenging, yet by far the most rewarding, life choice was becoming a concurrent Foster Carer – thanks to this, she celebrated becoming an adoptive parent to her son.

I am committed to taking more responsibility and care in the quality of contact I share with others in my daily life, and enrolling others into doing the same, so that we may leave ever more sparks of possibility and hope in the world
